Matthew 11:10
This is who it is written, “‘Behold, I send my messanger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’”
Jesus makes this statment to a crowd of people who witnessed Jesus explain to John’s disciples who he was. He wasn’t trying to coharse or convience the crowds or John by a magic show or well time speeches. He didn’t pass out flyers or pamphlets. He simple wanted them to remember what they read about the Messiah in the Holy Scriptures.
John was in prison. He was questioning wether or not Jesus was the Christ. And aget this, only 8 Chapters before John baptize Jesus.
When your held hostage by your fincances. Remember what you read.
When your a prisoner to sin. Remember what you read.
When your stuggling to offer encouragment. Remember what you read.
